About the Journal
The Liberal Arts and Social Sciences International Journal (LASSIJ) is a refereed research platform with a strong international focus. It is an open-access, online, editorial-reviewed (blind), peer-reviewed (double-blind), and biannual journal (semi-annual with a continuous publication strategy). The primary focus of the LASSIJ is to publish original research and review articles centred around the liberal arts (liberal studies—liberal sciences), including critical thinking, logical reasoning, critical policy analysis, critical decision-making, cultural diversity, gender equality, conflict resolution, and human rights. The coverage of LASSIJ is dedicated to these allied fields, focusing on relevant themes from interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary integrated studies of arts, social sciences and administrative sciences, underscoring LASSIJ's commitment to valuing and promoting cross-disciplinary and transdisciplinary research. The LASSIJ's content is distinctly international, focusing on cross-national studies or comparative studies in which topics are compared across various countries, with a preference for manuscripts by foreign-affiliated authors or co-authors. This global focus is determined to attract authors and readers from diverse backgrounds. At the LASSIJ, we believe that the inclusion of multiple academic disciplines helps pool the knowledge from two or more fields of study to better address problems by finding solutions based on new understandings. Founded in 2017 under the umbrella of IDEA Publishers, the LASSIJ provides a publication platform that adheres to an eminent standard of research for academics and professionals, particularly researchers, scholars, and scientists of national and international repute. This commitment to maintaining a high standard of open-access publishing reassures our audience about the quality of our journal.
