Abstract

The review paper is all about research works related to biomaterials and their role in artificial organ development. It presents a comprehensive analysis of recent progress in the field, focusing on the types of natural and synthetic biomaterials used, their properties, and their biocompatibility in organ fabrication. It describes how the integration of tissue engineering, nanotechnology, and 3D bioprinting techniques has further enhanced the functionality and customization of artificial organs. The paper discusses the significance of these materials in mimicking the function and structure of human tissues, highlighting advancements in both laboratory and clinical settings. Moreover, it explores the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as tissue engineering, nanotechnology, and 3D bioprinting techniques, which have revolutionized the field. These innovative approaches enhance the functionality, customization, and scalability of artificial organs, thus improving patient outcomes and expanding the possibilities for transplantation. By synthesizing findings from various studies, the review also identifies existing challenges and potential future directions in biomaterial research, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. The insights provided serve as a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners aiming to advance the field of regenerative medicine and to develop more effective, patient-specific artificial organs.
