About the Journal

Aim and Objective

The NASIJ aims to be a leading international journal of natural and applied sciences. The NASIJ aims to publish original, innovative, and high-quality research articles in the physical sciences, life sciences, earth sciences, engineering sciences, technology, and integrated studies from all allied fields, with a preference for those with a global focus. The journal offers a unique opportunity to showcase refereed research to a global audience and contribute to advancing science and technology by providing a standard publication platform for academics, researchers, scholars, and scientists worldwide. The journal's emphasis on quality and impact-oriented research ensures that the scientific community recognises and appreciates the publications.

Scope and Thematic Focus

The primary scope of NASIJ encompasses the natural sciences, applied sciences, and engineering sciences, with extended coverage in earth sciences, computational sciences, numerical sciences, planetary sciences, chemical sciences, biological sciences, health sciences, agricultural sciences, veterinary sciences, environmental sciences, and allied fields. The journal strongly encourages manuscripts that address the Sustainable Development Goals, underscoring the belief that integrating multiple disciplines is beneficial and crucial. This approach helps pool knowledge from two or more fields of study to better handle problems, inspiring and motivating researchers to contribute to a more significant cause through new understandings and advancements in science and technology.

As an international journal, the NASIJ prioritises manuscripts on global themes and comparative studies of Pakistan and other countries/regions with global implications. We also prioritise manuscripts by foreign-affiliated scholars as solo or co-authored studies on local/international themes, encouraging research collaboration worldwide. We also prioritise local themes and topics that are theoretically relevant to readers outside Pakistan.

Publication Frequency

The NASIJ follows a biannual/semi-annual publication schedule (January-June and July-December). Previously, the journal's publication schedule was annual from 2020 to 2021. While maintaining and completing a rigorous editorial and peer-review process, the accepted version of the article is forwarded to the production team. This team, comprised of experienced editing, layout, and proofreading professionals, ensures the highest quality standards are met. Once finalised, the galley is published as a PDF on the official website to ensure the timely dissemination of the research. All the published articles are gathered into the journal's current issue biannually, providing a comprehensive collection of the latest research in the field.
