Author Guidelines-Instructions
- The minimum word limit for a manuscript in AJPAS is 4000-5000 for quantitative studies and 6000-10000 words for qualitative and mixed-method studies, including the list of references.
- The manuscripts should be edited by an English language expert, preferably a native speaker, before submission to AJPAS.
- Style of the referencing and citation should be ensured as per APA guidelines (latest edition).
- An in-text citation style should be used with a list of references at the end of the manuscript.
- AJPAS reserves the right to edit, modify, or make additions and deletions to the article or may request the corresponding author to do so.
- The text of the article shall be single-spaced, in 12-point font, and italics employed, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
- All illustrations, figures, and tables shall be placed within the text at the appropriate points rather than at the end of the manuscript.
- A maximum of two manuscripts by an author shall be published in a single issue, one as the principal author and another as a co-author.
- The manuscript already submitted elsewhere and under review for publication shall not be submitted to or accepted by the AJPAS.
- The corresponding author shall ensure that there is no conflict of interest between the principal author and the co-authors.
- The corresponding author shall ensure that the manuscript is free of plagiarism, that the overall similarity is not more than 19%, that similarity from a single source is not more than 5% as per HEC-Pakistan policy, and that it is properly cited with the original source(s).
- The international standards of research ethics must be followed and ensured by the authors/co-authors.
- Complete affiliation details of the authors/co-authors shall be provided at the submission stage of the manuscript.
- The Email ID of the corresponding author and ORCID of all authors will be published in the final accepted/approved manuscript.
- A manuscript, once accepted for the peer-review process in AJPAS, cannot be withdrawn by the author(s).
- The manuscripts considered for the peer-review shall not be submitted/published elsewhere unless rejected by AJPAS.
- A manuscript accepted for editorial review or peer-review does not mean approval for the publication of the article.
- An acceptance letter may be issued for a manuscript after the peer-review, only if approved by the editorial board for publication.
- Peer-reviewed and approved manuscripts are published with a date of submission and a date of online publication.
- The author(s) will sign an agreement/undertaking allowing AJPAS the non-exclusive right to circulate the article and all other derivative works, such as translations.
- The author(s) are advised to carefully read the author guidelines and ensure that all the requirements and conditions of AJPAS are fulfilled before submission of the manuscript.
- The manuscript shall be submitted online as an MS Word file to the editorial team after the corresponding author registers and/or logs in to the user account on the AJPAS website/online system.
